Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website. We value the rights of intellectual property and expect others to respect ours as well. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a copyright owner or their representative can submit a takedown notice to us through our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA from claims of infringement. To make a good faith infringement claim, you need to provide the following information:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that is claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material to be removed with enough information for us to locate it.
- Contact information of the complaining party.
- A statement that the use of the material is unauthorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Under Title 17 USC §512(f), penalties can be imposed for misrepresenting information in a notification of infringement. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email for faster processing.
When submitting a claim, be aware that we may share your information with the alleged infringer. Your identity and claim might be communicated to them.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice for copyright infringement, you can send a counter notification to have the material restored on the site. The notification should include:
- Your signature.
- A description of the material taken down and its original location.
- A statement declaring that the material was removed by mistake.
- Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court.
Send your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against copyright infringement. We keep track of DMCA notices and make an effort to identify repeat offenders. Those who violate our policy will have their accounts terminated.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify the DMCA policy on this page at any time. It is recommended to check back periodically for any updates.
